Tower Social Privacy Policy
Version: 1.1 · Effective date: November 1, 2026
What changed in 1.1: after your service ends, we now keep a short set of basic notes and preferences so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. We still delete all your photos and videos. We also removed the old free-trial waitlist, since we no longer have one. We added Section 6B about photos and videos you send on a free demo page, and our contact email is now team@towersocialhq.com. If you became a client before November 1, 2026, this change applies to you 30 days after we tell you about it (Section 13).
This policy explains what information Tower Social collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We kept it short and plain. It goes with our Terms of Service.
Quick summary
This summary is for convenience only. The full policy below controls.
- We collect only what we need to run your social media: your contact details, business info, the photos and videos you send, optional voice samples if you opt into a free AI voice clone, and access to your Facebook Page and Instagram (and TikTok or YouTube, if you connect them).
- We never sell your information.
- Your photos and content are used only for your posts. We won't use them to advertise Tower Social without your permission.
- We use trusted service providers (like AI, messaging, payment, and hosting providers) to run the service.
- We never share your mobile number or text opt-in with anyone for marketing.
- You can ask to see or delete your information anytime by emailing team@towersocialhq.com.
- Photos and videos you send for a free demo are used to make your demo, and are deleted if you don't sign up (Section 6B).
- When your service ends, your assistant stays active for 7 days in case you change your mind. Then we delete it and all your photos and videos. We keep a short set of basic notes and preferences so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Ask us and we'll delete those too (Section 7).
1. Who we are
"Tower Social," "we," "us," and "our" mean Tower Social LLC, a member-managed Arizona limited liability company (Arizona Corporation Commission Business ID 25135104). You can reach us at team@towersocialhq.com.
"You" and "your" mean the business that uses Tower Social and the people who text or email us for that business.
2. What we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact details: your name, business name, phone number, and email address (your client info sheet).
- Business information: what you sell, your customers, hours, brand style, goals, specials, and anything else you share during onboarding or later.
- Your content: photos, videos, logos, captions, links, and other files you send.
- Voice samples (optional): if you opt in to a free AI voice clone, a short voice memo you record for that purpose, plus your consent text. We use it only to create and use a voice model for your posts. We never use your voice for another client or for Tower Social's own marketing.
- Messages: your text and email conversations with your Tower Social AI assistant and with our staff.
- Your agreement record: the date, time, phone number or email, your exact reply, and the version of the terms you accepted.
Information from your social accounts: when you give Tower Social partner access through Meta Business Suite, we can see your Facebook Page and Instagram content, messages, comments, and insights (like reach, engagement, and follower counts). This can include names and messages from your own customers and followers. If you connect TikTok or YouTube (in beta), we can see the content and performance data (like views and followers) for those accounts too. We use this access only to provide the service.
Billing information: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares limited details with us, such as your name, email, plan, payment status, and the last 4 digits of your card.
Records we create: activity logs (posts drafted, approved, and published, edits used, and requests you make), weekly performance reports built from real Meta insights, and internal cost tracking for each client.
Demo pages: if we send you a private demo page, we collect what you send there (see Section 6B).
We don't use advertising trackers or buy information about you from data brokers.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- create, schedule, and publish your posts after approval;
- create AI voiceovers in your approved cloned voice when you have opted in (otherwise we use our default assistant voice);
- text and email you about your service, including check-ins, drafts, approvals, recaps, and weekly performance reports;
- handle billing, trials, cancellations, and support;
- keep records of your agreement and our work for you;
- remember what worked for you, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back after your service ends (Section 7);
- understand our costs and improve the service; and
- protect our service, follow the law, and enforce our terms.
We may use general lessons learned (for example, "short Reels do well for cafes") to improve Tower Social. These lessons never include your private information.
4. Your photos and content
- Your content is used only to make posts for your business. You're responsible for having the rights to the photos and media you send us (see our Terms of Service, Section 8).
- We never sell your content.
- We never use your content, business name, or posts to advertise Tower Social without your permission. (For example, a newsletter Client Spotlight only happens with your approval of the final article and photos.)
- We don't use your content for other clients.
- Your logo is used exactly as you provide it.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the service. The kinds of providers we use are:
- AI model providers, to help understand your messages, research trends, and draft captions, images, and videos;
- Our messaging provider, for text messaging (iMessage, and SMS if added later) and email;
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to publish posts and read insights for your accounts;
- Social media scheduling and publishing tools, to schedule and publish your approved posts (including TikTok and YouTube, if you connect them);
- TikTok and YouTube (if you connect them), to publish posts and read insights for those accounts;
- Stripe, for payments and billing; and
- Google Drive, for hosting documents (such as our Terms of Service).
These providers handle your information under their own terms and privacy policies.
AI training. Tower Social does not use customer content to train AI models. We select service providers and configure our systems to prevent customer content from being used for AI training wherever supported.
We may also share information:
- if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients, or the public; or
- with a company that takes over Tower Social's business (such as a buyer of the business). We'll let you know if that happens.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for other companies' marketing.
6. Text messages and your phone number
- We text you about your Tower Social service or your inquiry, using the number you give us. We send tips and offers only if you separately agree (see Section 6A).
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your text messaging opt-in and consent information will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out.
- As explained in our Terms of Service, if you text STOP (or something like it), your assistant will first ask whether you want to (1) cancel your subscription, (2) pause it, or (3) keep your plan but stop the reminder and check-in messages. Nothing is canceled until you confirm. If a STOP fully opts you out of texts before we can ask, we'll follow up by email. To start receiving texts again, just text your assistant or email us.
6A. If you contacted us before becoming a client
When you scan our QR code or text our number, we collect your phone number, your messages, and what you tell us about your business (your name, business name, email, social platforms, and what you'd like help with). We use it to answer you and set up a free trial.
- Tips and offers are optional. We'll ask once whether you'd like occasional social media tips and offers. We send them only if you reply YES, and we record the date and time you agreed and your reply. Saying no never affects your trial or service. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase.
- Opting out: reply STOP anytime and we'll stop all texts. We keep a record of your opt-out so we don't text you again.
- How long we keep it: we keep lead information until you ask us to delete it. Photos and videos you send on a demo page follow the shorter time frames in Section 6B. To request deletion, text us or email us (Section 14); we'll delete your lead information, keeping only the minimum record needed to honor an opt-out and the record of what you agreed to (Section 6B).
- No selling or sharing: we don't sell your information or share your number or opt-in information with third parties for their marketing. Service providers that deliver our messages process it only for us.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help.
6B. Photos and videos you send on a free demo page
If we send you a private link to a free demo page, you can send us photos and videos, your business name, your social media handle, and links to posts you like, so we can make you a free demo post.
- What you agree to when you send them: you confirm you own them or have permission to use them, including from anyone shown in them. We use them to make your demo (and your posts, if you sign up), with help from our service providers (Section 5). We won't post anything without your OK.
- What we record: your phone number, what you send, and a record of your agreement: the date and time, the version and exact wording of the notice you saw, the button you tapped, and your browser type. If you also choose whether to get tips and offers, we record your choice, the exact wording you saw, the date and time, your device's IP address and browser type. If you join the TikTok and YouTube beta list on a page, we record that the same way.
- Photos and videos you never send: if you add files but never tap "Send for my demo," we delete them within about 2 days.
- If you don't sign up: we delete the photos and videos you sent, and the demo we made from them, 90 days after we sent you the demo link. We may keep basic notes about your business and preferences (Section 6A) until you ask us to delete them.
- If you sign up: what you sent becomes part of your client content and follows Section 7.
- Deleting everything: text us or email team@towersocialhq.com anytime. Within 30 days we'll delete your photos and videos, your demo, your business notes, and our activity records about your demo page. We keep only the record of what you agreed to (date, time, and notice version, for up to 7 years, see Section 7) and, if you opted out of texts, the minimum record needed to honor that.
7. How long we keep it, and deletion after your service ends
We keep information only as long as we need it. The time frames below are our standard practice. Some of our service providers keep their own copies for a while under their own policies, so we can't control every system's timing, but we aim to meet these targets.
- While you're a client: we keep your information for as long as your service is active.
- When your service ends: your service end date is the day your cancellation takes effect (the end of your paid period), or, if a free trial ends without you signing up, the day your trial ends or the day we confirm you're not continuing, whichever comes first. We record that date, pause all posting, and schedule your content for deletion. This includes your photos, videos, conversations, business profile, performance reports, and voice samples / voice-clone reference files, wherever Tower Social stores them. The only exception is the short set of basic notes described below ("Basic notes we keep").
- 7-day grace period: your AI assistant stays active for 7 days after your service ends, in case you change your mind (just text it). On day 7 we delete your assistant and the content it holds.
- Outer limit, 90 days: any remaining copies in our files and with our service providers are deleted no later than 90 days after your service ends. (Some providers keep their own copies for a while under their own policies; this is the latest date we aim for, not the usual one.)
- Basic notes we keep, so you're not starting over: after your service ends, we keep a short profile of basic notes about your account so we can pick up where we left off if you ever come back. It includes your name, business name, the names of your social media pages, the plans you had, your brand and voice notes, your preferences, which posts worked best and why, and anything you told us you didn't like. It does not include your photos, videos, or voice files. We delete all of your photos and videos. We keep this profile until you ask us to delete it. We handle it the same way if we close an assistant that has been inactive for about 6 months.
- Want everything deleted? Just ask (Section 10). We'll delete everything we have about you, including these basic notes, except the records the law requires us to keep (below).
- Backups: deleted information may stay in backups for up to about 30 more days after it's deleted before it's gone.
- Voice samples: if you revoke consent for a voice clone (anytime by text), we delete your voice memo and clone reference files from our systems promptly. If you cancel service without a separate revoke, those voice files are deleted with the rest of your content (day 7, and no later than 90 days).
- Records we must keep: we keep only what the law requires, such as billing records, your terms agreement record, and the record of what you agreed to on a demo page (with the basic contact details tied to them), for up to 7 years, for taxes, accounting, and legal reasons. If you never agreed to our terms and never paid, we keep only a minimal deletion record (the date and what was removed) and, if you texted STOP, the minimum record needed to honor your opt-out.
- Want a copy first? Ask before day 7 and we'll send you a copy of your content (Section 10).
- Phone numbers: if your business had its own Tower Social texting number, we release it when your assistant is deleted and never assign it to another client.
Your posts stay on your accounts. Posts already published on your Facebook Page and Instagram stay there after you cancel, even after we delete your content from our systems. Canceling Tower Social does not delete your social media history. Your accounts are yours, and you can delete any post yourself anytime.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 10).
8. Removing our access
You can remove Tower Social's partner access to your Facebook Page and Instagram anytime in your Meta Business Suite settings (usually under Settings > Business assets or Partners). If you connected TikTok or YouTube, you can disconnect them anytime too. If you need help, text your assistant and it will walk you through it.
When you cancel, we'll also remove ourselves when possible. Once access is removed, we can't see new content, messages, comments, or insights. Removing access doesn't cancel your subscription by itself (see our Terms of Service).
9. How we protect it
We use reasonable steps to keep your information safe, such as:
- keeping each client's files separate;
- limiting access to Tower Social staff who need it;
- never asking for your passwords (we use Meta partner access instead);
- never taking card numbers by text (payments go through Stripe's secure page); and
- using providers with strong security.
No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach affects your information, we'll let you know as the law requires.
10. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- see the information we have about you or your business;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete your information, including the basic notes we keep after your service ends (except records we must keep by law, and your published posts, which you control); or
- get a copy of your content.
To ask, email team@towersocialhq.com or text your assistant. We may need to confirm it's really you, usually by checking your phone number or email on file. Our standard is to respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have other privacy rights under your local law. We'll honor them as the law requires.
You can unsubscribe from our monthly newsletter anytime using the link in the email.
11. Children
Tower Social is a business service for adults. It's not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Please make sure you have permission to share photos of anyone in your content, especially children (for example, a parent's OK).
12. Where your information is stored
Tower Social is based in the United States, and our providers may store information in the United States or other countries. By using the service, you understand your information may be handled outside your home country.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Each version has a version number and effective date at the top. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of important changes by text or email. If you keep using the service after the changes take effect, the new version applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
